This is a sake of uncommon depth and character. It has a very soft, gentle “nama” feel in the mid palate with refined fruit notes of Asian pear, dried mango, and praline. Its firm acidity yields a long clean finish

Aramasa Shuzo Co. Established 1852

Aramasa Shuzo is famous for discovering and isolating the No. 6 strain of sake yeast in 1935. Since Sato Yusuke took over management of the brewery in 2009, it has become of the most sought after “cult sake” producers in Japan. The Aramasa sake produced for ENTER.Sake is a Junmai Daiginjo is made with the Kimoto method. Kimoto is a slower, traditional style that uses no added lactic acid to purify the sake. This sake is also fermented in large cedar casks hewn from trees more than 130 years old. It’s then aged briefly in neutral Oak barrels for added depth of flavor. Only three tanks of this sake were produced exclusively for ENTER.Sake: one for release in Japan and two for export.
